February 1st - Diversity Lunch
The CEO Diversity Award Luncheon will honor companies that promote diversity and demonstrate awareness of the challenges and opportunities around diversity. Click here for tickets: $350 for table of 8 with Program Ad / $25 for General Individual Tickets
The luncheon begins at 12 noon and features Keynote Speaker Carmen Smith, VP Creative Development, Walt Disney Imagineering.
February 2nd - African American Community at a Crossroads: Community Panel Discussion
Don't miss this dynamic reflection on Black Community Leadership and the issues of Education, Employment, and Public Health, quality of life indicators from the State of Black Long Beach Report. Enjoy a spirited discussion, insight and community dialogue from prominent community figures. 10:30am - 2pm
Opening presentation begins at 10:30am, featuring Derrell Acon, D.M.A., Long Beach Opera, with historic Negro spirituals, special musical selections and poetry.
